Book On Hawking Delayed Due To "New Discoveries" Concerning The Arrow of Time

Originally planned for release before December's end, Marshall Barnes' book on Stephen Hawking has been delayed due to new discoveries encountered while reviewing key material. The discoveries were significant enough to warrant inclusion in the book.

Dec. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Research and development engineer Marshall Barnes always has a full plate and though he's been multi-tasking long before there was a word for it, sometimes projects can get in the way of each other, especially if one yields up a new discovery. That's the situation with his new book on Stephen Hawking, Space Warps and Time Tunnels.

"I was reviewing some of the material for it dealing with the arrow of time and made a signifcant discovery which demanded further review," Marshall said recently from a vacation lodging in Canton, OH. "Most of the book is done, but one thing that I do, when I work on a project such as this, is to review all relevent material on the subject and make sure that I have it right. That's when I get a new perspective sometimes that is even more thorough than before".

In this case, Marshall says he has discovered significant information regarding the arrow of time, the direction that we all perceive time is flowing, that will bolster earlier research that Marshall had been doing on the nature of time itself. It also makes it plain his contention that Hawking should never had made the error that the arrow of time would ever flip if the expansion of the universe were to ever reverse.

"Unfortunately for Hawking fans, all of this new material is going into the first full chapter of the book. It clearly shows why Hawking shouldn't have come to the conclusions that he did, that is if he's really the 'greatest mind on the planet'. It proves that either he's not as smart as people have been prompted to believe or he has perfected a way to do some really, really, sloppy work and get away with it. By the time one finishes reading that one, with eight or more chapters to go, it becomes easy to realize that Hawking is probably the most overrated physicist in the history of physics."

The way in which Marshall made the discovery exposes flaws in Stephen Hawking's thinking and work methodology due to the fact that they both were working on the same problem but at different times. Marshall didn't get any help from reviewing Hawking's work as Hawking had already admitted that it was wrong. It raises the question, "If Stephen Hawking is the greatetst mind on the planet, as advertised, then why hadn't he made the discovery first"?

Marshall will be releasing the book in three formats - regular print paperback, PDF ebook and enhanced ebook with audio and video features. The print version will be released first with a new projected release date of January 18th at the latest.
