Dealing exclusively with PC's, Steven Cahill has been in the industry for years, and has long been looking for a placve to centralize his ideas and create an informational hub where the average computer user can get information in layman's terms.
"I often had a hard time weeding through overly technical material when I first started using computers," he says, "And even now it can be hard to really find a step by step process so that my mom could solve a computer problem."
For example, Cahill points out, he has written a very in-depth guide on how to back up your computer and save all of your important files in the event of a hard drive malfunction.
"Many people will back up their data on the same hard drive, like with laptops. But this is decidedly not the proper way to do this. I am hoping I can explain to people why this is a bad idea, and just point it out to them."
The site is small to start, but Steven says that http://www.stevencahill.net will be growing rapidly.
