JAIPUR, India - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Wedding is definitely the most preserved day in one’s life, a day to cherish for life time and make memories that will never fade away.

The bride is the star of the occasion and needs to be at her best on her big day. And when it comes to make up, professionals suggests would-be brides to go for a minimalist and subtle makeup as it is the guaranteed trendsetter in weddings. Brides should understand the difference between everyday makeup and the type of application that will enhance their beauty in wedding photos. They should be very careful with what make up tricks they adopt as it is a one time affair and none likes to take chances. To help you out, we have come with a few don’ts that you should stick to, to avoid any kind of disaster.

·         Do not plan on waxing or facials right before the wedding. You should let your face breath for at least five days before the big event.

·         Do not encourage any last minute 'make-up surprises'. Schedule a make-up consultation for yourself at least four weeks before the wedding for a trial run.

·         Do not over-correct or over-camouflage under eye circles.

·         DO not use a traditional talc-based powder foundation. Because after touch-ups, it can oxidize and darken on the face.

·         Do not gain affinity with shimmer highlights or light-refractive makeup. Your shimmer can easily turn into an unflattering and highly reflective shine in your photos.

·         Do not use heavy pressed powder to set your foundation. Too much powder can leave your skin looking chalky and lifeless in your wedding photos.

·         Do not overdo either your make-up or hair. It will only upstage you and your dress. Make sure you feel comfortable with your look.

·         Do not crowd your lashes with too many coats of mascara.

·         Do not try to apply false eyelashes for the first time on your wedding day.

·         Do not get too trendy with your eye makeup. You may think that sparkly eyeliner is a good idea today, but trust me! It is not.

·         Do not use heavy pencils or dark shadows to define your brows. This can leave you looking stern rather than stunning.

·         Do not go for lipsticks that are too neutral or frosted. These colors make you look pale and tired.

·         Make sure that your lip-liner is not darker than your lipstick. They look harsh and very unnatural in pictures.
