By: Arete Marketing Limited The story sets out how to understand that each experience should be considered as a learning experience. “Everyone is here to learn and everyone’s lessons are different to others. The Project L.E.L. series will explore many different situations, all of which are based upon real people’s experiences.” In “Year 18” a female Chinese student reflects back on the violence between her mother and father that happened in her teenage years, as to whether it has damagingly impacted on the security of her recent marriage. As a beautiful but naïve woman she finds herself attracted to an older man who is a work colleague. She faces the dilemma of going with her infatuation or leaving her job so she can remain faithful to her husband. In the story the author reveals the lesson the student was learning through the experiences. About Murray Kibblewhite Originally from Masterton, a small rural town.
