SigmaStrat Launch Her First Corporate Continuos Perfromance Summit in East Africa

NAIROBI, Kenya - July 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Sigmastrat Corporate Continuous Performance Improvement Summit East Africa 2013, is scheduled to take place at Pride Inn Nairobi, Kenya, on 17th  September 2013.

This will be an evening where Business Leaders, Change Agents and Corporate Executives will be treated to and deliberate on driving continuous performance improvement and Operational Excellence in their organisations. Our keynote speaker for this year’s event is an Enterprise Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt for the US Federal Government and the Chair of the Federal Improvement Team – USA.

R. Scott Bonney is a 1990 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  After serving as a Naval Officer in surface warfare for four years and completing his Masters degree in Education, Scott began working in the automotive industry, including four years in polymers and injection manufacturing, and six years in just-in-time, just-in-sequence assembly.  As the Master Black Belt for Johnson Controls' North American JIT, Ford and Nissan Business Units, he oversaw 8 CPI Managers, 15 Black Belts, and 75 Green Belts, leading performance improvement activities at 10 facilities across Mexico, the United States, and Canada.  In 2004, Scott returned to supporting the Navy, taking a position with Northrop Grumman Corporation and serving as Master Black Belt to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Lean Six Sigma College, where he taught, developed curricula, mentored, and facilitated strategic planning sessions.  In 2008, Scott was hired by the Office of the Secretary of Defense to train, mentor, and execute enterprise-wide performance improvement projects.  It was at this time that he first began bringing together performance improvement professionals across the U.S. federal government to form the Federal Improvement Team (FIT) -- a team that has since grown to include members from 29 different U.S. Federal Agencies.
