By: Life School “Fallen flowers can’t climb back”. If the root is strong, we can expect new flowers. Don’t think too much about the ‘lost’ past. Just love the present & live for the future. From the tree, I learn ‘Make your roots strong. There will never be shortage of flowers.’ Nature uses broken things beautifully. Broken Cloud pours Rain! Broken mountains carry rivers! Broken water flow creates waterfalls. Broken Soil Sets as Field! Broken nuts provide nourishment! Broken Crop yields Seed! Broken Seed gives Bread! Broken bag enables a baby to be born. From nature I learn, broken things can be purposeful. If I feel my heart is broken, God is planing to utilize me for some beautiful purpose. No Person in This World has Ever been Rewarded for What He has RECEIVED. He is Always Honoured for What He has GIVEN…. From humanity I learn, my focus should be on giving and not on receiving. Beauty was dear to Greeks, Power to Rome; Dharma was close to the soul of India. From Indian history I learn the purpose of my life is ‘Dharma’ which means ‘DUTY’. A soldier died fighting terrorists valiantly. People came to express condolences. The mother asked, “Will you ensure his sacrifice was not a waste?” Most left speechless. I can visualise her pain. She must be torn apart thinking her son’s death was a waste. She does not want a statue to be erected in the name of her son. She just wants to ‘believe’ her son’s sacrifice was not a waste! Is she asking for too much? Not at all! From the soldier’s mother’s pain I learnt, sacrifices of others in my life, should never go a waste. Little things, experiences and observations of life, teach us a lot. Or, should I write, ‘can’ teach us a lot. For us, they are like seeds that can become a tree of strength and a lighthouse for directions. “Grab as many seeds as possible. Create as many trees as possible. You will see, its easy. To ignore these seeds is what makes life difficult.” With loads of love, prayers and exceptional wishes, Narendra Goidani As I Live…I Learn www.lifeschool.co.in End
