Appdemon Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Fund New 2D Puzzle Game "Brave Bits"

May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Appdemon has announced the launch of its Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund its first multi-platform puzzle game, "Brave Bit"(http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1806980110/brave-bit-0), which features a single character. The 2d puzzle gmae is Upward Scrolling, which is achievable through the use of an interesting mechanic. By moving all the way across a floor and though the wall, the player is able to move Brave Bit up to the next floor. By moving across the floors and walls, players are free to move the character named Brave Bit to the next level. The player must get back orbs that allow Brave Bit to move one step closer to returning to his home.

The two-man team of Rakesh Ram and Logan Byers head up this project (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1806980110/brave-bit-0) for Appdemon. Rakesh as programmer and artist and Logan Byers focused on its sound design. Rakesh is excited to have Logan on the team by stating,"This guy is an award-winning artist and guarantees that the sound designs and effects of the game will appear more interesting than others."

While playing the game, players need to overcome the three levels of difficulty. These levels are easy, regular and hard. At the first level, players need to pass without collecting a single orb and the portal is very visible. For the next level, players are required to collect at least one orb and open the portal.

As simple as that sounds, between Brave Bit and his path home, lies multiple obstacles to leave behind and puzzles to solve. The player has an infinite number of lives to collect the orbs and get Brave Bit through all portals. However, players for the last levels are required to get at least two orbs to unlock the portal. All backers may receive exclusive access to ten extra bonus levels. Playing this game is one-of-a-kind experience as players need to focus on reaching their goals to get more orbs and ultimately winning the game.
