Second Jerusalem International Tourism Summit 2013: The New Era of Tourism

The Second Jerusalem International Tourism Summit for 2013 is initiated by the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Jerusalem Development Authority in cooperation with the Hebrew University and the Jerusalem International Convention Center. The conference will focus on Planning Models for Urban Tourism and new tourism technologies while discussing the challenges and trends that influence world tourism. The summit will bring together global leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and experts in the field of tourism to conduct panels on a wide range of subjects that affect tourism in general and urban tourism in particular. The international gathering of decision makers will bring together a business network offering important and influential discussions and connections within the industry. The JITS is one of the most important annual conferences in the field of tourism, presenting Israel as a Start-Up Nation and Jerusalem as a leader of technology.          Tourism and Economic Ministers from different countries, Mayors from around the world, world tourism experts, business leaders, entrepreneurs, academic and industry leaders, travel writers, bloggers, such as Charm Lee - president of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Dr. Dirk Glaesser - Acting Director, Sustainable Development of Tourism Programme, World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and many others will attend the various panels.
