PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release

Memories, Dreams and Histories

Woodstock, ON …  Canadian publisher Seraphim Editions announces the publication of Tether, a collection of poetry by Laurelyn Whitt.

To tether is to join or hold together. Through these poems, the poet shows how people can be tethered by – and to – other people, and to the non-human world. “This book explores some of the many things that serve to tether: gravity and touch, history and memory, listening and dreams," Whitt says.

Tether, Whitt’s second full-length book of poetry, is a collection of 59 poems of various styles. Drawing on a range of events, experiences and memories, these poems introduce us to a rich variety of places, people and animals, and hold us with their powerful imagery.
