Exceptional March Sales Make Chrysler the Top Canadian Seller

In March 2012, Chrysler Canada had an impressive total of 22,703 vehicles sold. They topped it this past March with a 6% increase, equaling a total of 24,173 vehicles sold. Both the 2013 Ram 1500 and the heavy-duty Ram trucks received a substantial revision this year, including cosmetic and performance upgrades. The release of the new Ram led to the best ever month for the brand here in Canada. Ram had a 15% sales increase over last year with 7,476 trucks sold in Canada compared to 6,526 from March of 2013.

While the vehicle is clearly popular with customers, the 2013 Ram has also received critical acclaim. Recently, the model took home three major titles: North American Truck of the Year, Motor Trend Truck of the Year, and Truck of Texas. This is thanks to the use of new interior technology, best-in-class fuel economy, and the heavy-duty models’ best-in-class towing capability.
Just released last year as an all-new model, another vehicle experiencing widespread success is the 2013 Dodge Dart, which had its best sales month ever with 1,041 cars sold to the public. In just this year alone, Dodge Dart sales have doubled. The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country, which is built right here in Canada, achieved a new monthly sales record with 793 minivans sold. This is more than twice its 279 units sold from last year.
