Rimroller® Inventor Invited to Speak at the Inventors Association (Ottawa)'s March 13, 2013 Meeting

OTTAWA, Ontario - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Paul Kind, Ottawa-area inventor of the Rimroller, a clever device that helps Tim Horton's "Roll-up the Rim" contestants more easily roll-up the rim on their contest coffee cups. Over the past few years, Mr. Kind's Rimroller has saved contestants who have one from the possibility of a broken fingernail or a broken tooth, depending on how the contestant chose to cut and roll up the rim of their paper coffee cup.  

Mr. Kind's Rimroller is available for purchase at Lee Valley Tools, and Princess Auto, or from the Rimroller website at http://www.Rimroller.com.   Mr. Kind will speak to the Inventors Association (Ottawa), at its March 13, 2013 Meeting at 7 pm, which will be held at the ArtEngine M70 Lab at the Arts Court building, 2 Daly Ave, Ottawa, ON.  Mr. Kind will speak about his experiences in coming up with the final design of the Rimroller, getting it manufactured, and marketing this handy invention.  He will likely also discuss his experiences with his other two inventions the Bookhug® book holder and the  Handyfold™, an unique paper/letter folder.   Members of the Inventors Association (Ottawa) meet monthly, except for July and August, to learn from each other as well as from experts in the fields of intellectual property protection, prototype development, manufacturing techniques, marketing, etc.

The Inventors Association (Ottawa), http://www.IAottawa.org, a not for profit, member-operated organisation founded at the University of Ottawa in 1986 to help Ottawa-area, independent inventors get their inventions to market through continuing education, support, and networking opportunities.  All new or experienced inventors are welcome to attend a meetings and to join the IAOttawa, if interested.  An application and annual dues are requirements of membership.
