Singapore to send first batch of representatives to international singing competition in Finland

Olive Tree Music signs licensee agreement with Karaoke World Championships to begin state-wide search for the best amateur singers to represent Singapore for the first time at the world finals in Finland.

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Singapore – 08 March 2013 – Olive Tree Music announced today that it has signed a license agreement with Karaoke World Championships (KWC) in Finland.

This exclusive country partnership starts the beginning of a statewide search for the best amateur singers to represent Singapore for the first time to the world championship and compete with over 30 countries including USA, Australia, Ireland, Malaysia and China.

KWC is the world’s biggest and most respected karaoke event and has been running for 10 years. It brings together singers from all over the world, regardless of race, nation or religion in a showcase of talents.

KWC headquarters in Finland has set the dates for the 2013 Karaoke World Championships for November 21st- November 24th, 2013 to be held in Lappeenranta Finland at Holiday Club Saimaa.
