Follow on Google News | State give priority for environmental clearance for green projectsAs per a government scheme green buildings will be given faster environmental approvals. However, such a scheme is either not being availed by many or implemented by concerned authorities respectively.
By: Favista Real Estate As per media reports, the government came up with a new scheme whereby approval papers for green certified buildings will be kept on the top of the pile of projects lines up for environmental clearances. The duration of getting such approval for a conventional building can extend to a duration of nearly an year and a half. Unfortunately, only five out of around 300 buildings seek such an incentive. However, not many real estate companies are aware about such intensives or the possibility of fast tracking the process of environmental approval. Sunil Mantri from Mantri Realty confirms the same.
