MoodMe attracts new Angel Investor following pitches & demos in Silicon Valley

Dec. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- MoodMe confirms the signup of a new investment by a Business Angel. The amount is part of the recently opened convertible note of €500.000 which will close in early January.

This investment is the result of increased efforts from MoodMe to attract new investors as demonstrated by the pitch and demos at PlugAndPlayTechCenter’s Expo Winter 2012 (http://plugandplaytechcenter.com/events/expo-winter-2012) and APPNATION Conference (http://appnationconference.com/) in the past two weeks. These Silicon Valley events featured the company’s investment proposal and product demo directly towards key investors and entrepreneurs. Several follow up meetings are scheduled with handset manufacturers, Business Angels and large tech companies of the Valley.

According to Chandra de Keyser, MoodMe CEO, “The new funding received and the promising traction in the US market is the confirmation the company was waiting for to stay in the Valley to accelerate its global growth. We are very confident this will not be the last investor joining us before 2012 ends as we are currently closing key B2B deals prior to entering the consumer market in 2013.”

Football clubs, advertising & promotion agencies and TV shows are the focus of commercial efforts.

MoodMe’s presence at Plug and Play is due to an award from the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy. MoodMe has already started working with one of Silicon Valley’s top law firms to incorporate its US subsidiary.
