Nov. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- This past week, the vampire movie project, Requiem for the Night was featured in an article on vampires.com. Written by David MacDowell Blue, a graduate from the National Shakespeare Conservatory and the author of The Annotated Carmilla. and Your Vampire Story (And How to Write It), the article gives the author’s thoughts on the new, Israeli vampire movie project.

The author notes concerning Requiem for the Night, “One thing that pops up from the pages and emails and videos is a certain enthusiasm. I’m reminded just a little bit of the buzz that slowly built among the creators of Babylon 5 until it finally went on the air.” – David MacDowell Blue

One can read the article in its entirety on vampires.com, here:

Requiem for the Night is intended to be Israel’s first vampire feature film project. A solid Israeli lineup of professional, known actors has begun putting their support behind the project. Some of those that have done so include the following:

   *Ami Weinberg (Steven Spielberg’s “Munich”)
*Alon Dahan (” A Matter of Size”, and “The Syrian Bride”)
*Oded Menaster (“The Golden Pomegranate“, “Like a Fish Out of Water“)
*Shlomit Mandel (German director, Maria Schrader’s “Liebesleben“)
*Yinon Sapir (Adam Sandler’s “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” )

The project is headed up by Israeli director, Will Blesch, who noted “We plan on our project being one of the top vampire movies, and we’re really honored to have had Mr. Blue do an article on us…especially this early in the game. Being in development, lots of things are subject to change…but we were really pleased with the article on vampires.com for sure.”

Mr. Blesch also said: “Right now we’re in the process of looking for a business partner (or partners). We have a number of businessmen we’re talking to, but we’d like to invite business people, entertainment attorneys, investment bankers etc. with an interest in the arts to contact us.

Since we are an Israeli production, we’d love to also gain the interest of the Jewish community in America and around the world.

Let’s give the vampire genre a kick in the ass and show the world that our blood suckers come from a place viewers have never been before.”
