Audi Center Jordan announces the arrival of the New A4 in Jordan

Nov. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Audi Center Jordan, represented by Nuqul Automotive, announces the arrival of the newly updated Audi A4. New drivetrain, chassis and infotainment solutions, along with an even more attractive design, attest the “Vorsprung durch Technik” achieved by the new Audi A4. Now in the eight generation, the A4 is the worldwide best-selling Audi model. Over the last 39 years Audi has sold roughly 10 million units of the A4 and its predecessor, the Audi 80.

The design is even cleaner and more distinctive with more pronounced horizontal lines at the front and a revised engine hood, bumpers and single frame grille. The xenon plus headlights, LED daytime running lights and tail lights with LED strips have also been updated. The interior of the Audi A4 is now more elegant than ever. Many control elements are framed in chrome; the steering column stalks, ignition key and the ergonomics of the optional MMI navigation plus infotainment system have been redesigned. Further improvements have been made in the operation of the automatic transmission, the air conditioning system, Audi drive select and the leather multifunction steering wheel as well as the interior colors and upholstery range.

The Audi A4 update has reduced fuel consumption levels by 11 percent on average, despite the increased power and torque of many of the engines. In Amman, the Audi A4 is available with a 1.8 TFSI entry level engine with 120 hp and a higher-powered 1.8 TFSI, which produces 170 hp. A 2.0 TFSI with 211 hp and quattro four-wheel drive, as well as a top of the line 3.0 TFSI quattro, which has a supercharged V6 producing 272 hp, are also available upon request. All engines feature forced induction and direct injection for tremendous pulling power, and come standard with the start-stop system.

The two front wheel drive models of the Audi A4 family feature the constantly variable multitronic transmission as a standard, while the quattro versions have the seven-speed S tronic on board.

Audi offers numerous assistance systems for the A4 family, the latest of which is standard on all quattro models: The driver information system with break recommendation. Optionally available are Audi adaptive cruise control, Audi active lane assist and Audi side assist. Audi also offers a whole kit of state-of-the-art infotainment systems for its A4. The concert CD radio with eight speakers is standard, while the MMI navigation plus system with a large hard disk, color monitor, 3D graphics and DVD player tops the line of options.  

The new Audi A4 is equipped with a long list of standard equipment including the electromechanical parking brake, cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mounting and large alloy wheels. The Audi parking system rear, Audi music interface as well as the three-zone automatic air-conditioning, leather seating surfaces, a glass sunroof and electric lumbar support for the front seats are standard on the versions 1.8 TFSI 170 hp and above. The sport suspension and S line exterior package are additionally standard on the two quattro models.
