The book was launched officially during a conference held at the IntercontinentalPresidenteHotel in Mexico City. Petrofac, Mexico’s first ever company to win incentive-based contracts, was given the Company of The Year award.
   
The Oil & Gas Year Mexico 2012, published in partnership with PetróleosMexicanos, is the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide on the country’s energy industry ever published. Itprovides information on the major trends in the oil and gas industry. The book is committed to showcasing the upcoming measures taken by Pemex seeking to open up the country’s hydrocarbons industry to international companies, after the ground-breaking move of awarding the first incentive-based contracts in August 2011.
