Follow on Google News | JonDo 00.18.001 uses Skype for circumventing Internet censorshipToday, JonDos publishes a new version of the JonDo-Software, an IP changer and IP anonymization program, that can be used for anonymous web surfing with high security anonymous proxy servers.
By: JonDos GmbH The new version includes changes which make it possible to „tunnel“ JonDo via Skype and thereby bypass Internet censorship. This feature is particularly interesting for countries where the JonDonym service is blocked but where it is still possible to use Skype. For these users, it will now be possible to use JonDonym for anonymous surfing despite any blocking by an Internet service provider. What additional settings need to be made for this purpose can be found in the JonDonym help: https://anonymous- In a planned later release of this feature every JonDonym user will be able to offer his own Skype server for people of censoring countries. Thereby JonDonym and its users will be able to do more for the free use of the Internet. This release also fixes some minor bugs and adds some options for costumizing the program. What is JonDo? JonDo is an open source and free-of-charge program for Windows, Linux and MacOS X. It hides the user's IP address behind an anonymous IP address. In contrast to other anonymizers (VPNs, anonymous proxy servers), the user's anonymity stays protected even against the providers (operators) of the anonymous IP address. It is possible to test the premium service by getting a free JonDonym-Code: https://shop.anonymous- Download: JonDo IP changer http://anonymous- Press contact: Christian Vogl press@jondos.de End
