In 1980-1985 Aksel Bratvedt practiced his managerial skill while working for a major shipping company of the Bergen bank in Oslo. From 1985-1986 he served as an executive trainee at the Hambros bank where he successfully initiated high level transactions that enabled the Hambros bank to sell its service to larger bases of the Norwegian clients.
Due to his high experience in banking Aksel Bratvedt became one of the founding members in Elcon partners and securities which is one of the first investment banks in Norway .Aksel Braved is mainly accredited for focusing mainly on corporate finance and the transaction in real estate ,he also heavily invested in hotels ship financing and micro cap companies.
In 1990 Aksel Bratvedt joined the consultancy firm Nordic management which is based in Stockholm where he was able to carry out CEO strategy projects for both finish and sweedish multinationals, he also did handle high level strategy consultancy in Stockholm and Helsinki. In 1991-1994 Aksel Bratvedt transferred Siar –Bossard consultancy in Stockholm where he acted as a senior project leader as a French and a sweedish consultant where he later became a Gemini. In his new position Aksel Bratvedt was able to develop a number of strategies and organization projects for a number of large multi nationals both in Baltics and Russia.
With Sweden facing economic crisis Aksel Bratvedt was able to spearhead the development of one of the biggest banks in Sweden which was able to resurrect the bad economic crisis. Aksel Bratvedt in 1996-1997 was able tio successfully form the Niche Management Consultancy in Stockholm which was mainly geared for investment for the vast eastern European markets.
Aksel Bratvedt also got the opportunity of working with one of the biggest mobile production companies ERICKSON from1998-1999 where he was accredited for the development in the usage of 3G systems in phones and was made as a project manager .His main work in this company was to respond to various needs of customers worldwide on the usage of mobile phones and to be able to determine how the
Erickson organization could be able to integrate its sales force for better service function.
2001-2009 was a successful year for Aksel Bratvedt where he was nominated as an executive of an established company which mainly deals with technology platform for digital asset management as well as production services for marketing.
Mr. Bratvedt has also been able to work for the Delling group PLC in London where he was able to serve as the CEO from 2004-2005 and thereafter s an executive chairman where he is accredited for the development of the company from a two million Euros worth to a thirty million Euros worth in a span of only three years through 8 acquisitions in Scandinavia.
In 2009 Mr. Bratvedt served as a non executive chairman of a know how marketing support services whose main focus is the dealing in digital media. In 2010 he advanced his managerial skills by being appointed as the executive chairman of the image and reputation management limited in London which is an online reputation management firm.
