New Hypnotherapist in Pretoria

March 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Hypnosis Works is a well established Hypnotherapy Practice in Pretoria. The previos owner, Troy Robins, recently left South Africa for the UK to start a new practice there, and he handed over the practice in Pretoria to Hendrik Baird.

Hendrik Baird qualified as an actor many years ago and has been active within the entertainment industry in various capacities. A few years ago he changed tack and started working in the Health and Well-Being arena, most notably for OUT LGBT Well-Being, where he was involved in HIV campaigns in the North West Province.

Hendrik has been interested in Hypnosis since a child, and he finally decided to study the subject in depth in order to qualify as a Hypnotherapist. He approached the South African Institute of Hypnotism and embarked on a quest to qualify as a Certified Hypnotherapist.

This non medical qualification was awarded to him early in February 2012, and he immediately started practicing at Hypnosis Works!.

In the two short months since he has taken over, Hendrik has proven that he is quite adept at helping people stop smoking. He has an excellent success rate and his clients only have high praise for his work. In the words om a recent client: "Thank you! You have saved my life!"

Of course Hypnosis can be used for so much more than just getting rid of tobacco. Hendrik also presents a weight reduction program based on Dr Judith Pearson's The Weight, Hypnotherapy and YOU programme.

As a Certified Hypnotherapist (non medical), Hendrik has been trained in Analytical Hypnotherapy. This means that he is able to guide a client back to the root cause of a problem, helping the client to find lasting solutions to problems.

As a Certified Parts Therapy Facilitator, Hendrik is able to help a client resolve inner conflict. This therapy is new in South Africa and Hendrik is one of a very few who have qualified in this modality.

Hendrik believes in a client-centered approach, which means that the therapy is geared towards the needs of the client. Each person is unique, their problems are unique, and he tailors his sessions to suit each individual person and problem.
