PRLog - Feb. 22, 2012 - Johannesburg South Africa – The Innaugural East Africa Business Summit and Expo SA, aimed at highlighting the investment opportunities in East African region will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Sandton on the 20th July 2012 with over 300 business people and potential investors from East Africa, SADC and other parts of the world.
The Summit and Expo will provide a well structured networking opportunity between key players and stake holders in the region. This will be through the various breakaway events that will be organized and presented to participants. This based on the premise that people do business with other people and not companies. The expo will provide a platform for exhibitors and visitors to explore what business opportunities exist in the region as a whole. Breakaway sessions will cover areas of mining, agriculture, tourism, finance and real estate.
Rwandair, a leading airline in the East African region has partnered with the summit as airline partner. Rwandair aims to provide unsurpassed, safe and reliable services in air transportation, including strategically linking Rwanda with the outside world, while ensuring a fair return on investment with a vision to be ““The airline of obvious choice in the markets they serve”. Rwandair is the first airline in Africa to have the Boeing 737-800 Sky interior with mood lighting. Delegates will be able to take advantage of the great fares from Rwandair to the summit in Johannesburg. Rwandair flies to all the 5 East African countries
The summit will exhibit what attractions the East African region offers. The different countries will be given a platform to market their potential to visitors at the mini expo. The expo will also include service providers in the leisure and hospitality industries such as hotels and tour guides.
The East African Business Summit and Expo SA 2012 is the first of its kind on the African continent to solely dedicate an entire summit and expo to stake holders in the East African region and promote the East African region as a preferred and desirable investment destination. It is a great opportunity to explore business and develop business linkages with Africa and the world as a whole. The Summit and Expo will also act as a bridge between private sectors both from East Africa and elsewhere.
