Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Roadhop.com is a travel search engine that provides schedules, ticket fares and station locations for bus, train and ferry travel across the world in one easy to use site. No more flipping from page to page to make sure that your plane will connect with your bus and then with an onward train, roadhop.com gives it all to you in one simple interface that brings all the joy back into independent travel.

Kel and Wyn Zhang, sisters, travelers and the developers of roadhop, saw a need for a site that shared all information on non flight travel available in each country around the world.
‘Talking to our fellow backpackers in hostels, we realized independent travelers experience the same problem in Europe (especially Eastern Europe), Latin America, China and even in advanced countries like Japan and Korea. Even in SE Asia where we are from, there is no information at all,’ said Kel. ‘Not only did we want to see timetables in English, we wanted to know things like, is it better to catch a bus or a train? Is it safe at night? What are my options?’
Enter roadhop.com, a site that not only gives you timetables but up to date information via crowdsourcing.  Using roadhop is effortless, log in using facebook, enter your start point and destination, choose the mode of transport required and bingo! roadhop.com provides schedules, timings, pick up and drop off points and pricing. Alternatively, you can log your most recent journey and share your own tips. Since it’s an interactive site, users can vote on the quality of information. Roadhop uses social media to disperse information not currently available on one site and since it’s an interactive site, users can vote on the quality of information.

An ongoing project, roadhop.com is currently mapping all non flight travel in Asia from India across SE Asia to Australia and New Zealand. Travelers in SE Asia, China, India, Australia are invited to participate in roadhop, map your journey now!
