Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- BookChums, a community for book lovers, recently interviewed Rashmi Singh whose debut fictional, Love’s Journey tells the story of a woman, who breathes for true love, in this materialistic world. The protagonist, traversing through slums, facing hurdles and rough patches, climbs the epitome of success, finding her destination at the place she had never expected.
Talking about her growing up years, Rashmi confessed “I was very good academically, except Math!” “But with marriage came with so many other responsibilities which weren't easy to shoulder so my studies saw a break,” she continued.
“As a teacher, I was generally asked by the Principal to counsel students and parents and I decided to hone and polish the personality of others with my own experiences. That saw me starting out as a Freelance Personality Dev. and Soft Skills Trainer,” said Rashmi on being asked about her professional life.
Sharing her early memories of writing, and the ideation of her debut novel, Rashmi said “I think being a Counselor has helped me a lot in etching the characters.”

“Love is something which cannot be defined or measured! It is just a feeling. I think Radha, Krishna's beloved is the epitome of love,” continued Rashmi on being asked about her opinion on love.
Mentioning a couple of her favorite books, Rashmi added, “I read anything that attracts my attention.”
Talking about her latest book, Taming the restless mind, Rashmi concluded, “Though a non-fiction, it is written in a narrative style. The chapters are gripping with solutions provided to the best of my belief and faith.”
