Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication organizes seminar on National Sports Bill

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, one of the premier Mass Communication institutes in the country organized a seminar on the topic National Sports Bill. Mrs. Sharada Ugra, Cricinfo senior editor was the chief guest in the seminar.

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- 17th December, New Delhi: Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, one of the premier Mass Communication institutes in the country organized a seminar on the topic National Sports Bill. Mrs. Sharada Ugra, Cricinfo senior editor was the chief guest in the seminar. On  the occasion of National Public Service Broadcasting day, Mrs. Sharada Ugra shared her insights on the sports bill at the campus premises in New Delhi.

The main focus in the seminar was on the National Sports Bill. The session started with a short speech from Professor Akshay Kumar of Apeejay School of Management. Mrs.  Sharada Ugra took the session forward by discussing about the Sports Bill.

The eminent journalist discussed about the necessity of the sports bill in India and the need of implementation of the bill. Mrs. Ugra talked about the specific steps that should be inaugurated by sports federations of our country, which could prove as help to our athletes so that they can do  well in future competitive games? She also highlighted those points of Indian Government, where it lacks. The Indian Government should implement strict discipline policy in Indian Sports. She also mentioned the behavior of BCCI and why they are not joining the notion and also gave insight about the Indian Sports authority’s powerlessness to control the system.

The interactive session ended with a vote of thanks and a memento presented to Mrs. Sharada Ugra on behalf of the institute.
