Viacam Introduces ViaSecure Pro, the latest technology in security and building management.

Sept. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- ViaSecure Pro includes 4x analog BNC camera inputs, and 4x Pelco.d protocol PTZ inputs. As analog cameras are used it makes the unit instantly compatible with any analog camera on the market, meaning users can easily integrate ViaSecure Pro into an existing analog CCTV installation, or use any of Viacams analog cameras. Alerts can be sent to the user of security breaches together with attached images from the cameras giving instant visual feedback of the security situation.
4x expansion ports on the front of the unit allow additional sensor, dry contact or door control expansion modules to be added, extending the capabilities of ViaSecure Pro even further. A virtually unlimited number of sensors can then be monitored from a single ViaSecure Pro base unit.
For the ultimate in security monitoring, access control and building management use ViaSecure Pro together with ViaDoor expansion modules. These intelligent door control units are capable of monitoring up to 2 doors each, with 4 weigands. Feeding information on door events and status back to the ViaSecure Pro base unit the user is able to keep track of who is entering the building, control access schedules and assign user groups and access privileges.
When door controllers and power relays are combined with ViaSecure Pro the user can control room lighting or activate sirens and alarms based on door status. Or infact, any sensors status. Turn on airconditioning units when temperature or humidity gets too high, turn off lighting automatically after office hours, or unlock all doors should a fire alarm activate. The limitations are only down to the creativity of the end user in how they deploy the ViaSecure Pro system.
ViaSecure Pro runs it’s own built in web server and therefore is completely platform independent. All you need is a computer running any operating system, together with a web browser to access and configure the unit. Once setup it will run with little maintenance and only alert you when necessary. Being a network enabled device also means no matter where you are in the world you have complete control over your building infrastructure, security and access control.
