Groove Criminalz present their brand new smashing release on Molaman Records

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 12, 2011 - In  early Spring of 2011, Mikeloliver (CCO of the label and Producer of  Dub Vampires, and The Mumps) signed the duo to Molaman Records after listening to their demo “Back 2 Funk” and was completely blown away by their sound. The duo has a variety of musical expression. Ever since they were children, they have been fans of  Jazz, Funk, and Soul, which are their heaviest influences. Groove Criminalz credits Hip Hop for their production style; notably their truncating techniques in many of their compositions.  As DJ's, their scratching techniques and sound effects have helped carve out their original and recognizable sound.

Groove Criminalz have been remixing tracks for other members of the Molafamily right out of the gate. The duo remixed Budda Khan's “Honey” and “LePhone” from Budda Khan's album “Musick'n'sophware”; they beautifully transformed Selene duCoudray's vocals with their remix of “No Other” from her album “Painting With Sound”. The “Groovely Yours” promo EP will also include a bonus track “Across The Ocean” featuring Budda Khan. These brothers are a force to be reckoned with!
