June 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Stainless steel is a product made up of chemical elements and is high in chromium alloys which are what makes it an excellent material for outdoor applications. Stainless steel is used in many industries including Navigational equipment, filtration tanks and pipe work.
Stainless steel is also used in Architectural products such as ornamental staircases in both interior and exterior environments; stainless steel is even used for sculptures where various finished can be used to create different art effects.

Other metals are used in the manufacture of stainless steel such as Titanium and copper and non metal s are also used such as nitrogen and carbon. The materials used all add to the anti corrosion ability that stainless steel has, hence making it an incredibly versatile material which has many uses.

When metal  chromium is added to ordinary steel, the metal becomes incredibly corrosion resistant and this is what makes stainless steel so adaptable and versatile.
Stainless steel can look different depending on the way it is manufactured and finished and there are different grades depending on its application.

We take it for granted somewhat but stainless steel is almost everywhere in our daily lives, Stainless steel is used for cutlery, ovens, stainless steel ornamental staircases, Garden equipment, filtration tanks and navigational equipment.

It l is also used in endless industries and is a constant presence in our daily lives; you will find it used for bus shelters, lifts and ornamental staircases both inside the home and outside work premises.

There are different grades of stainless steel depending on the use and the application and environment. The stainless steel grades are iron alloys which contain more than 10.5% of chromium and the grades will depend on the structure and nature of the stainless steel.
Stainless steel is used in many outdoor applications for different products and industries such as stainless steel handrails and ornamental staircases. Stainless steel used for architectural products in exterior environments will be of a very high grade. This ensures that the stainless steel maintains its appearance and structure.

Many professionals are involved in the architecture of products like ornamental staircases and a team of architects and contractors will consider the stainless steel grades used in certain application.

Stainless steel is also completely recyclable and are designed to have a very long lifespan, lasting sometimes several decades.  Stainless steel can be easily recycled by recovering the alloying elements, chromium, Nickel and molybdenum. These elements are highly valuable and can be used again.
