PRLog (Press Release) - May 26, 2011 - I found out about Aurora Guitarist Rick Washbrook from his other students. It was word of mouth. I am fascinated by the guitar and the bass. I have studied with Rick Washbrook and found his approach to be effective. He never disappointed me with any of my requests.  With Rick, it's about the quality of the guitar lesson, not the one hour spent and out the door. Some people can play, some people can teach, Rick can do both. I have studied the topics of blues scales, guitar scales, and jazz.

Washbrook has been teaching over 25 years.

Rick Washbrook decided he would compose original works for this Parlour Gibson Guitar, he borrowed from a student, and wrote songs for it to celebrate its birthday in 1906, when the guitar will be 100 years old.

Bill Piburn from Nashville editor of Fingerstyle Guitar heard the "1906" Gibson Parlor 1906 CD and liked the track "Honkey Tonk Butterfly"
Bill Piburn wanted to use the track "Honky Tonk Butterfly" in the Master
Workshops section of the Fingerstyle Magazine issue # 69.
