In its 37th year, the 10 day festival starts June 24th and features a fantastic assortment of music, comedy, street parties, parades and a whole load of action up on the slopes.

Back in 1975, Queenstown locals thought that celebrating the arrival of snow was a “great excuse to have a party” and the rest is history. The Festival has evolved to forge a unique identity as New Zealand’s premier celebration of all things winter.

•   Temporary ice skating rink, complete with a glass carriage – it’s been confirmed the rink will operate for the duration of the festival and will feature local sporting and ice skating acts.
