Leading Natural and Organics Food Supermarket Chooses Times Group Corp. in Uptown Markham

May 5, 2011 - PRLog -- MARKHAM, Ontario – Times Group Corp. is pleased to announce that Whole Foods Market, a leading natural and organic foods supermarket, has selected Uptown Square as its newest Ontario store location. Part of Times Group’s recently launched Uptown Markham master-planned community, Uptown Square is a 150,000-square-foot pedestrian shopping center slated for construction at Birchmount Road and Highway #7, next to Times Group Corp.’s newest condominium project RiverPark and the existing Sheridan Nurseries.

The store appeals to a variety of customers, from the health conscious to “serious foodies” with its wide range of organic fruits and vegetables; specialty items; high-quality meats and poultry; everyday pantry staples; and, sustainable seafood.

Scheduled to open mid-year 2012 – well in advance of the first phase of Uptown Markham residences – Whole Foods Market will feature 40,000 square feet of retail space. In addition to the supermarket, Uptown Square will house top tier restaurants, cafés, banks and boutiques.
