March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The HTC Flyer offering a multitasking tablet experience through a large 7 inch touch display which is great for gaming as well as other apps. The device also includes both rear and front facing cameras for video chat and capturing photos and videos.

The tablet offers Android along with the Sense user interface and experience which includes integrated social networking and other impressive features allowing easy control of the software and the device hardware. Android Market is present also, as ever, and allows you to download many new applications to run on the tablet as you wish, all offered in a larger 7 inch touch screen environment. The larger screen makes all apps easier to work, better to look at, and generally more enjoyable, especially games applications. You can also enjoy mobile movies in better clarity, as well as more desktop like web browsing and email use.

The Flyer has a 1.5 GHz processor and 1 gigabyte of random access memory for speed and multitasking capabilities ensuring that you can seamlessly use more than one application at any time, and switch between them with simplicity. Internal storage for new apps, media and more is an impressive 32 gigabytes of space in addition to the microSD card slot which can offer up to a further 32 gigabytes of memory at any time, which is swappable. The front facing camera is great for video chat, while the rear facing 5 megapixel camera is capable of video clip recording and capturing great photos too, photos and videos which again can be enjoyed on a larger display.

The device also has internal GPS for use with apps such as Google Maps and Facebook Places, so you can still use it to find your way around, or simply enjoy maps on the 7 inch screen, providing better clarity and easier touch control respectively. Connectivity is offered with Bluetooth 3.0 including the A2DP stereo audio profile for wirelesses headsets; as well as a microUSB connector for fast syncing to a computer. Standard headphones and audio connection can also be made via the 3.5mm jack connector present too.

The HTC Flyer is among the latest tablets to appear on the market following the launch and relative success of iPad from Apple, and other devices from Blackberry and Samsung also. This tablet combines not only the power of Android but also one of the best known and used user interfaces offered for the operating system in Sense, which makes it a claer contender.
