To serve our customers better and to simplify searching for molecules of interest, Otava’s on-line compound search engine was developed.  This engine is a powerful tool which allows finding appropriate compounds from our databases fast and accurately.  It is easy to access and operate.  It requires no registration, no subscription fee and no software installation.  This search engine allows on-line browsing, exporting and requesting quotes for the selected compounds.
One can do different searches in four categories:
•   Target-Focused Libraries
•   Tangible Compounds
•   Building Blocks
•   Stock Screening Compounds

There are three different search options:
1.“Text Search” option allows finding substances by molecular formula or catalog number.
This search option can also be used to find compounds with predicted biological properties in our “Target-Focused Libraries” category using names of target proteins or diseases.
2.“Structure search” option is useful for searching compounds by structure drawing. Exact Search and Substructure Search are possible.
3. “Advanced Search” option is a combination of the first two options. Additionally, there is a possibility to operate with physical and chemical parameters of compounds such as molecular weight, cLogP, H-bond donors/acceptors and rotatable bonds.
