UBF-2011 is a key business event for the Ukrainian industry of solid biofuels and biomass. Traditionally, this spring Event is an integral part of the business calendar of active and progressive members of the biofuel market in Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian Biofuel Market is on the eve of a new stage of development. Boost in prices for import natural gas is a real fact in part. The cost of gas came up by 50% and must go up by 50% in successive steps in the course of the next year.

Exports of fuel briquettes and pellets from Ukraine in 2010 increased by more than 65% (!!!). Ukraine becomes a serious player on the European market of solid biofuels. However, the young Ukrainian industry is still out of the government attention and support.
In Ukraine, the boiler installations are launched and the biomass (fuel briquette and pellet) boilers are installed  and they already show attractive economy, namely 2 to 3 years of cost recovery and profitability over 50%. What other projects give now such figures?

The Ukrainian village has all the prerequisitesto become energy-dependent. In Ukraine biogas is an underestimated niche that didn’t fulfill its potential. The proper implementation of biogas projects in Ukraine signifies empowerment of agricultural holdings, improvement of distilleries’ economics, self-sufficiency of enterprises in supply of warmth and light. There are alternatives concerning the price and the quality for biogas installations! And the Ukrainian Biofuel Forum invites the best manufacturers of equipment, engineering and service companies, all who appreciate the customers and can create projects by proposing the best economy to the client.
