Dec. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Burlington, VT – Longtime, popular morning DJ Lana Wilder is returning to “morning radio” and resuming her spot as co-host to Burlington’s Favorite Sons – Corm & the Coach. Vermont Internet sports broadcaster Northeast Sports Network (NSNSports.net) will begin broadcasting the heritage Champlain Valley radio show with the return of former co-host Lana Wilder in mid-December with audio and video stream with additional broadcasting platforms to follow.

The award-winning heritage morning show features host Steve Cormier and co-host, Tom Brennan, former UVM Mens Basketball coach. To the delight of longtime Corm and the Coach fans, the return of co-host Lana Wilder to the show in her role as siren to her male counterparts also marks her return to broadcasting after a brief hiatus. Prior to this, Lana served as host of a morning show on a once popular but now ratings-challenged family station in Burlington.

“I’m excited to be back with Corm and Coach after all this time. It’s the perfect recipe to create great morning radio and have some fun along the way.” said Wilder. “Having been part of the show for so long, I missed being away from the boys and the listeners. I’m definitely looking forward to this, especially in what will eventually be a multi-media format. ”

For nearly eight years, listeners in the Champlain Valley woke to the jokes, interviews and entertaining banter of Corm, Coach and Lana Wilder. With celebrity guests, coverage of local issues and events, contests, giveaways and pranks, the show routinely ranked among the top in the market. Moving forward, the show will continue to entertain with witty conversation, great guest interviews and discussions about current, topical events and happenings.

The morning show duo announced in November it was working with Internet Broadcaster NSN to explore multimedia options for the show. The show, Corm, Coach and Lana Too, will begin with Internet audio and video stream on NSNSports.net, adding additional broadcast media along the way.

NSNSports.net is the broadcast leader for Vermont sports, featuring statewide high school and college sports as well as sports talk shows. As the initial broadcaster launching Corm, Coach and Lana too, NSN will continue to develop the comprehensive multimedia broadcast platform.
