Decor Condos with LED Light Christmas Wreath

I think a LED light Christmas wreath is more like a decoration, unless it is an advent wreath in which you would have to put on a table due to the candles.

Dec. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- I think a LED light Christmas wreathis more like a decoration, unless it is an advent wreath in which you would have to put on a table due to the candles. However, I thought it was interesting that somewhere there is bulletin noting that 'real' Christmas trees are allowed but not recommended. As long as the Christmas trees are disposed properly in a plastic bag and in the proper garbage bin, that is what matters. Also, there does allow LED light Christmas wreaths to be hung on the door as long as they are not nailed to the door and as long as they are taken off the door shortly after the holidays.

It is interesting to see how different condo corporations handle the rules for holiday Christmas tree decorations. I am definitely going to ask my property management if I can hang a LED light Christmas wreath on my door.

I have read many rules and regulations for different Condominium boards and some state that they do not allow 'real Christmas trees' in the units as they can increase the risk of fires in the buildings. In newly built condos I am finding that the rule reads as follows: "No Owner or occupant shall do or permit anything to be done, in his Unit or bring or keep anything therein which will in any way increase the risk of fire or the rate of fire insurance on any buildings, or on property therein...." In which case, real Christmas trees are implied as they do increase the risk of a fire.

As for decorating your exterior door, most new condominiums do not want any obstruction in the hallways. The passageways and walkways must be solely used for ingress and egress to and from a unit, and no signs or notices can be placed on the doors. Therefore, no shoe mats or hanging Christmas tree decorations can be placed outside of the exterior door.

Even on your terrace or balcony, most condominium buildings only allow seasonal furniture to be placed, as long as they are affixed to the floor and there is no way for any furniture to potentially be blown away.

There are many rules when it comes to decorating your condominium. However, there are ways around things. For instance, I put up a fake Christmas tree. Sure, it is not quite like the real thing, but there are many great looking fake trees that almost look like the real thing. I also put up a LED light Christmas wreath decoration on my interior wall, and make sure all my gifts are wrapped nicely underneath my tree with huge Christmas bows. I am very Christmas happy, so if you are creative enough, you can surely make your unit look like Christmas hit it, without disobeying any of the rules
