Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Every last Sunday of the month, at one of Vancouver’s most impressive indoor venues, over 110 local artists and designers come together to showcase their one-of-a-kind fashion and art. People from all over the lower mainland can come and shop for some amazing jewellery/accessories, clothing, bags and art from some amazing designers and artists. Created in 2006 and inspired by the famous artisan markets of Europe, Portobello West brings together Vancouver’s talented artists and designers in an eclectic and often surprising mix 10 months of the year.

Last month’s event was the first market for local Bamboo / Organic cotton t-shirt company S2S Nation. Many people were impressed by how soft and comfortable the Bamboo / Organic cotton t-shirts were. UBC student Ravi Sethi was amazed at the quality and designs of the bamboo tees.
“I never knew you could make tees out of Bamboo. It is super soft, and the shirts have some really cool designs”, Sethi stated.

Find your style at Portobello West market this Nov 27th and 28th / 2010 at the Rocky Mountaineer Station and meet some great artists and designers, including S2S Nation.
