The optical talk set is effective for use in installation, optical testing, maintenance and fiber attenuation value testing in data networks, CATV and telecommunication networks.
This optical talk set, model 5401, operates with 1310nm or 1550nm wavelength signals. It is capable of online display and online call. Equipped with a large, seven-color, backlit LCD screen, the talk set offers a clear display of operations. With its high quality connection in full-duplex communication mode increased testing distance is obtained. Its output power ranges from -5dBm to -7dBm. Modulation frequencies include 270Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz and CW. The optical talk set has a rechargeable battery and operates continuously for five hours.
