Oct. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Qooco, a Beijing-based education company, announced today the launch of its VoIP Chinese instruction services.

In a unique approach, Qooco is looking to fully integrate the VoIP instruction with their existing online speech recognition lessons.  Tom Kidd, education director of the site, said that Qooco is aiming to change the way in which students and teachers use technology.  Kidd said, "Usually, education technology is used in one-off practice sessions.  There is no connection with the teacher.  We are trying to blend the two together, so that your time spent with using the online lessons will help inform and improve your in-class sessions.  Teachers will be able to see what words and sentences students are having trouble on and offer more focused instruction "

Currently, Qooco (http://www.qoocochinese.com) offers three levels of Chinese instruction, ranging from beginner to lower intermediate.  Each level consists of approximately 30 lessons, with each lesson containing a series of interactive voice recognition lessons. Qooco is based in Beijing, China.  For further information, please visit http://www.qoocochinese.com or send an email to class@qooco.com
