Sept. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- To show Christchurch is ready for international travellers, the whole New Zealand tourist industry has pulled together to help Christchurch after it's earthquake.

Accommodation, city centre shops, transport and tourist operators are all geared up for business now.

Since the travel advisory warning to Christchurch was lifted on 10/09/10, the tourism industry is pulling out all stops to bring back visitors to the Garden City.

The message is going out to get as many local businesses operating, and money flowing through to wages and retail shops.

There is a new Facebook page put up by the Tourism Industry Association of New Zealand
(TIA). Special offers are posted at Quake Break Facebook.

Free entry is now offered to many of the tourist attractions in and around Christchurch which makes for a great deal.

All holiday parks are fully functional and open to host travellers.

Motel Association of New Zealand (MANZ) chief executive Michael Baines message is very clear "Christchurch is definatly open for business and visitors will defintly be able to find a bed."

All the Canterbury regions lodges are open without disruption except for one. Garrick Emms of Lodges New Zealand says "guests can expect a warm welcome".
