The China Love Affair with Idiots=Product+Money The Movie

Sept. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Vancouver, British Columbia-The movie producers, bloggers, and fans alike awoke today to find over 20,000 actual visitors from China on the Idiots=Product+Money The Movie website, (http://www.idiotsproductmoney.com) in just less than 24 hours.

After being contacted by various representatives of the Chinese media, “it appears as though China has a new found love affair with the Idiots=Product+Money The Movie brand.”-Jefferson Mesidor Executive Producer

After receiving a plethora of e-mails this morning, the producers went on record to say that there was a slight mis-understanding, as the Chinese media representatives were under the impression that the Asian cinema icon Jackie Chan was starring in this movie.

Nevertheless, even after clarifying that the movie star Jackie Chan was not a part of this film production, the Chinese media seemed to be taken away by the character Jackie “YoYo” Chan, played by Kent S. Leung.

The character Jackie “YoYo” Chan is a character of Asian decent that is going through an identity crisis in the midst of attempting to discover who he really is. “This is something that kids in all cultures can relate to, not just the Chinese culture”. -Robert Johnson, Executive Producer

To continue, the producers believe that the explosion of Chinese traffic was a direct result of the official movie face book fan page, that was launched less than 48 hours ago, resulting in over 1,200 fans, and also the breakout of twitter followers on the movie twitter page resulting in over 2,000 twitter followers in less than 72 hours.

The movie plot highlights four guys, TJ, YoYo, Benito, and Andy and their unorthodox methods to rescue their beloved Monica’s AKA “Frenchie” home from foreclosure. With no job skills or life experience the guys journey into the underground world in order to raise fifty thousand dollars in two days. In the process they starts a chain of events that will change their life forever.

The film, Idiots=Product+Money is being hailed as the next big blockbuster comedy that can speak to the world today while challenging the viewers to think about how we view the world around us. The anticipated release of the short film is expected to be in the spring of 2011, and while the full feature release is expected to be in the summer of 2012.
