A Platform to Discuss Facilities Management Strategies

Sept. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- To be held at the M Hotel, Singapore, on 7 & 8 December this year, this conference is generating interest among the regional facilities management industry stakeholders.

With energy prices on the rise and new regulations to improve buildings sustainability, the need for an effective platform to bring together the best practices and solutions to achieve energy and cost efficiency in operations, maintenance and upgrading of an asset is immense, said Ms. Sherene Asnasyous, Divisional Director of Construction IQ, IQPC Singapore.

“Over the two days, the event will feature presentations from experts from across the Asian region, addressing the entire spectrum of facilities management” she said.

Addressing the challenges in operations, maintenance and upgrading of an asset, as well as exploring new sustainable practices for enhanced energy efficiency of an asset, will be the prime focus of the case studies and general sessions which will be presented.

The event will feature the who's who of the regional facilities management industry, such as Dr Lim Lan Yuan, President of the Association of Property and Facility Managers (APFM), as well as the Presidents of the Singapore and Hong Kong chapters of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), Kenneth Foo and Deric Probst-Wallace. Dr. John Gilleard, Director of Learning, Asia Pacific, at Corenet Global and Bernanto Soerojo, President of BOMA Indonesia, will be also sharing their expertise with the attendees of the event.
