Lord Buckley, an entertainer best known for his "hipsemantic" On August 1st Rod Harrison, along with David Johansen of New York Dolls and Buster Poindexter fame, Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles, and Steve Cuiffo as Lenny Bruce will perform in the program Dig: Their Royal Hipness at the Damrosch Park Bandshell. Rod Harrison is an actor, comedian, dancer and emcee based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In addition to his work with Theater Grottesco, Rod has performed all over Santa Fe and regionally with the Dandelion Dance Theater and at the Public Theater in New York. “There's a new cat on the scene that is turning more than a few wigs, heating a few lobes and popping more than a few peepers with his gasser of an interpretation of The Great Cat.
