"In order to make money from online business you need to think of your online business as an actual store. The reason you need to think of it as an actual store is because the more traffic you get walking through your store the more money you will make. It doesn't matter if you are selling actual goods or if you are just a free content based website, you still need lots of traffic. Here is a test that I did about 2 months go with sites that were selling the same product.

The first thing I did was built a really attractive site and didn't do much promotion, and I build a really ugly site and did a lot of promotion. What I found was the ugly site that got 3 times the traffic got 8 times the sales. The whole reason it got sales was because of the traffic, not the way the site looked. My point here is that you need traffic no matter what your site looks like if you want to make money.

To make money from online business the process is quite simple, all you have to do get enough traffic to the site by doing general marketing such as blog commenting, forum posting, social media posting, article marketing, and word of mouth. I spend most of my days talking about products that I promote and that I love and it really works great for me. I can't say this enough, but you need to at least tell two new people about what you do and new things that are going on with it every day. If you don't tell two new people then you are missing out on a whole new opportunity.
