PRLog -- TORONTO (July 15, 2010) - Highly recruited hockey prospect, Ryan Lomberg, has committed to joining University of Maine Black Bears in 2012. Ryan Lomberg, the top scorer last season on the high recruited GTHL’s Mississauga Reps AAA Minor Midget team that saw 12 of its players drafted to the OHL has decided to play NCAA hockey. With 54 goals, 96 points, and +/- of plus 75 in 68 games Lomberg will be attending The Hill Academy in Vaughan Ontario and play for its inaugural U18 Prep Development Team coached by former CHL Lethbridge Hurricanes and London Knights Head Coach Lindsay Hoffard, former OHL player John Winstanley and former Pittsburgh Penguin Frank Pietrangelo. Ryan Lomberg is considered a top prospect for the NHL 2013 Entry Draft. Lomberg is training over the summer with former NHL players Jerome Dupont and Brad Tapper.
