“My travel experiences were a key element in the development of this story,” says author Richard Tipton. “My personal journals from Africa, Australia, Alaska, and France became the outline for much of the story.”

About the Author: Richard Tipton has been charged by an elephant while on safari in Africa, stalked by a shark while scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, and came face-to-face with a grizzly bear while hiking in Alaska. Tipton lives in El Dorado County in Northern California.
