Delegates had a varying degree of experience with social media and The Power of Social Networking Workshop really either reinforced existing knowledge and experience or introduced the concept and benefits of the marketing avenue. It was stressed that social media within itself may not produce the required results, however, as part of an overall marketing strategy it was agreed that social media and networking really can add fantastic results.

An overview of social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, FlickR, Wordpress and Press Releases was covered including how to establish these marketing tools within a company’s marketing plan. For those delegates who were unfamiliar with social media, dummy company information was set up with example blogs and social media accounts set up.

A very successful workshop was concluded with Advanced Training Group (http://advancedtraininggroup.wordpress.com) wishing the delegates and companies much success with their newly found knowledge.
