Whistler, BC – Motivational Speaker, Best-selling Author and CEO Joe Roberts encouraged and inspired the business leaders and members of Credit Counselling Canada at the CCC annual general meeting last week with his insightful “Setting our Sights on the Future” presentation. The Credit Counselling Canada annual general meeting was held on Monday June 14th, 2010 at the Pan Pacific Whistler Center Hotel in Whistler Village, British Columbia. The purpose of the presentation was to recognize and understand the impact Credit Counselling has on families.

Although his presentation encouraged business leaders to continue making a difference in the lives of those in need, he also wanted his audience to realize that “There`s more to you than you can see.” In other words, everyone has potential to achieve success.

Joe Roberts recently led the Credit Counselling Society in an internet marketing campaign which consisted of search engine optimization and a paid advertising program. After only a few months of optimization, CCS experienced a 813% increase in the number of weekly leads, as well as a cost decrease of 77%. The Credit Counselling Society currently has an average of 14,000 hits to their website per month.

As former CEO of the multimedia development company Mindware Design Communications, Roberts also led the company through an 800% increase in business in less than four years.  He made his first million dollars before he turned 35, and was named one of Business in Vancouver’s 40 Under 40 Outstanding Business People, and one of Maclean’s 10 Canadians Who Make a Difference. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Ontario Premier Awards for business excellence.
