PRLog - May 11, 2010 - I met Karina Takahashi several years ago when I was interested in Ayurvedic body
treatments.
I went to several places in Tokyo but it wasn’t what I was looking for.
What I experienced with Karina, I can only compare with the amazing Ayurvedic massage
I experienced at Kamalaya Spa in Koh Samui, Thailand.
The right Ayurvedic massage is a combination of the right techniques,
skilled hands and the nurture of Love.

Karina is an expert in Ayurvedic Aromatherapy and she is also a master blender of herbal, essential and base oils. I have to mention that most salons in Tokyo use sesame oil massage for all types of body constitutions, and it could be dangerous doing it for hot-type constitutions— combining sesame oil and sauna can increase the excess of
fire that leads to more imbalance.

Karina assesses the client first and prescribes individual blends according to each client’s constitution that harmonize and balance the doshas.
Especially, I love her Ayurvedic herbal head oil— I always fall in tranquility a few minutes after Karina touches my head. Though the oil has a pleasant relaxing fragrance, the most important of its features is the know-how combination of herbs that makes this oil extremely effective. Herbal oil head massage helps to alleviate headaches, release stress, and relax the nerves completely.
This oil, which is almost unknown, is hidden gold that makes you to feel calm and in peace. It is also safe to use for children. I applied this oil for my nephew during the time when she was hyperactive and nervous, and her emotions calmed down immediately and she slept very well.

Karina also created two kinds of blends— ear oils for men and women. I remember
I visited her place last year in August. I was going for a trip to Europe and thought that
I should buy ear oils to use it in the plane to sleep better during the flight.
Karina explained to me that these oils also help with hay fever… at that time my friend had some running nose and I asked him to put a ball of cotton with oil in his ears
according to Karina’s instructions.
You won’t believe it but the running nose stopped in a few minutes time; and since then,
there were not any hay fever symptoms until now!

I would strongly recommend Karina’s massage and oils for anyone who would like to experience the magic of true Ayurveda.
