May 8, 2010 - PRLog -- May 8, 2010 – San Diego, CA – San Diego Boca FC (2-1-0) will be matching up against NPSL Western Division rival Sonoma County Sol (0-1-2) in Santa Rosa, California on Sunday, May 9, 2010 for a 3 p.m. kickoff.

This marks the first time these two teams will play this season. San Diego Boca FC is coming off two solid victories against the Bay Area Ambassadors and Southern Oregon Fuego, as they shoot to continue their winning ways.  Sonoma County Sol got a late start to their season, and they are looking to build upon their scoreless draw with division leading Real San Jose (3-0-1) last week.

The hard work and dedication of San Diego Boca FC this year is producing good results and early success in the young 2010 NPSL season. Look for forwards Amir Vafaee and Froilan Nolasco to attack the Sonoma goal and create scoring opportunities for San Diego Boca FC. Their defense will be lead by goalkeeper Steve Gonzalez, and defenders Justin Picou and Michael Grba.

San Diego Boca FC Head coach Papo Santos stated, "This is another key match for us as we had another good week of training. We are fortunate in that all our players are healthy so we are going on this road game with a healthy side. Getting three points is key to keep pace for a first place position in our division."

San Diego Boca FC sits in third place in the standings right now behind Real San Jose (3-0-1) and the Bay Area Ambassadors (2-2-1), but have played fewer games than each team.  Sonoma County Sol (0-2-1) are still searching for their first win of the 2010 season as they sit between Sacramento Gold (2-1-0) and Southern Oregon Fuego (0-4-0) in the table.
