There are many cleaning companies offering end of tenancy/move out cleaning in Edinburgh. Use checklist below to discuss cleaning standard during end of tenancy cleaning, which must be done to choose the best one for you.

End of Tenancy Cleaning checklist

Kitchen cleaning
•   All cupboards to be cleaned on top, inside and the fronts
•   Fridge to be cleaned inside and out
•   Freezer to be defrosted and cleaned
•   Oven, cooked and cooker hood to be cleaned
•   Tiles to be cleaned
•   Any appliances to be wiped over
•   Floors to be cleaned or hovered and moped
•   Windows* and doors to be cleaned
•   All skirting to be dusted and wall marks wiped of
•   Light fittings to be dusted and or wiped clean
•   Cleaning of washing machine and drawer
•   Cleaning of dishwasher inside and out

Bathroom cleaning
•   Tiles to be clean, shower screen and floor
•   Bath to be cleaned
•   Toilet to be cleaned
•   Mirrors to be cleaned
•   Any cupboards or fixtures and fittings to be cleaned
•   Extractor fan to be cleaned
•   All skirting to be dusted and marks wiped off
•   Light fittings to be dusted and or wiped clean
•   Windows* and doors to be cleaned
•   Vacuum and mop floor if applicable

Bedrooms
•   Windows* and doors to be cleaned
•   All furniture to be moved and wiped over, inside and out of cupboards and wardrobes
•   Light fittings to be dusted and or wiped over
•   Full vacuum under bed and carpets and mop if applicable
•   Cleaning of mirrors and pictures
•   Cleaning of skirting boards

Lounge
•   Windows* and doors to be cleaned
•   All furniture to be moved and wiped over, inside and out of cupboards and shelving units etc
•   Light fittings to be dusted and or wiped over
•   Full vacuum under sofas and chairs including moving all cushions and cleaning behind, mop if applicable
•   Cleaning of mirrors and pictures
•   Cleaning of skirting boards
•   Cleaning of televisions

Hallway and stairs
•   Vacuuming of stairs and hallways, mop if applicable
•   All banisters and spindles to be cleaned
•   Skirting boards to be cleaned
•   Any light fittings to be dusted and or wiped over to remove any marks

•   Cleaners have hot running water and electricity in order for them to clean properly,
•   Fridges and Freezers should be emptied prior to our arrival and turned off and defrosted to clean them
•   Carpets and upholstery are in proper conditions – that is never into end of tenancy cleaning and you must order this service additional
•   Cleaning windows from outside is always additional service as well.
•   Parking space for one car is usually needed, and if your property is in for example paid parking area you will be charged for this additionally.
